14 year old boy stabs girl to death with scissors in Bauchi

Ismail Idris, a 14-year-old boy, was arrested by Bauchi state police for allegedly killing a 18-year-old girl. Deputy superintendent, police public relations officer Haruna Mohammed briefed the press in Bauchi on Saturday.


“On April 16, 2015, at about 17:45 hrs (5:45pm), police detectives attached to Township division arrested one Ismael Idris, male, 14, of Kofar Gombe ward in Bauchi State,” the police spokesman said in his statement. “Suspect used scissors and stabbed one Ramatu Aminu, female, 18, of Shekal ward, on her neck over a minor argument at a bakery. “She was rushed to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital, Bauchi, for medical attention, but later died while receiving treatment.” Mohammed said the case is being investigated, and Idris has been arrested for prosecution.
